Beleaguered parents in need of something, anything, to help alleviate some of the pressure of holiday family time this holiday season will be happy to know that you can take your kids to Best Buy for some much needed time off this Sunday, December 7.
They Can't Be Both Ninjas And Samurai, Come On, LEGO Ninjago!
The electronics giant is teaming up with Nintendo to bring you the Nintendo Family Game Demo Day at more than 100 locations nationwide. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time.
Parents can come by to let their kids (or themselves) try their hand at demos of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and the just released puzzle title Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Kids can also try their hand with Pokemon Art Academy, drawing their favorite pocket monsters on the Nintendo 3DS.

And if you show up, you might just be eligible for some in-store giveaways and prizes. Come early, stay late.
Intrepid families in Culver City, California will get a special treat with the mustachioed plumber and face of Nintendo himself, Mario. The video game icon will be there in person for pictures, alongside the stars of the KittiesMama youtube channel.
Of course, the event isn't just for families but I doubt if Best Buy will allow you and your friends to stage some elaborate Smash Bros tournament in their stores for 'funsies'.
You can check out the full list of participating Best Buys at the official page. Have fun out there, folks!
