PlayStation Minecraft players in Europe now have a handy update to look forward to the next time they boot up their console. It puts two new texture packs up for sale in the game, the Skyrim Mash-up Pack and the Steampunk Texture Pack.
Minecraft Gets Special Star Wars Character Pack For Xbox Players
The Minecraft Steampunk Texture Pack actually launched at the end of October for Xbox players, but now it's making its way to all of Sony's consoles: the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. Inject a little Jules Verne flair and Victorian charm into your existing Minecraft worlds or use it to create a new world from scratch, one where futuristic technology is run by boiling water and people still casually wear monocles.
Also coming in this patch is a crossover pack based on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. If airships and steam trains aren't your bag, feel free to strap on an iron helmet and go find an unsuspecting Whiterun guard to terrorize.

Both of these add-on packs should be available now for all European players on PS4, PS3 or Vita. According to Minecraft console developer 4J Studios, there's not yet a set date for when American PlayStation players will be able to get their own hands on these packs.
Minecraft is now available for most platforms imaginable, with more ports coming soon.
