Hearthstone Tournament Announced: eSports Site Good Gaming Hosting $10,000 Open Amateur Competition This December

Howdy partner, you come to this tavern often? Fancy yourself a Hearthstone player? Want to test yourself against likeminded foes in an effort to prove yourself worthy? That’s good, that’s real good, because eSports company Good Gaming has announced a the second amateur Hearthstone open tournament happening this December.

The event is fully supported by Blizzard and features a total pot of $10,000 in cash and prizes. The competition is open to players of all levels, though of course we ask the professionals to stay clear of this one, give us our Cinderella stories for as long as we can hold onto them. Qualifying rounds for the first “Good Gaming $10,000 Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft – Amateur Open" are slated to begin on December 19.

Bring your own decks. The tournament will consist of a series of Constructed Play Phases, so make sure what you got is on the up and up. We recommend mastering the upcoming Goblins vs Gnomes expansion to try and psych your opponent out with still unfamiliar cards. Each match is a best of five series, with the finals being held on December 21 via the official Good Gaming Twitch channel.

Interested players need to be registered members of Good Gaming by Thursday, December 18. “Limited Silver Memberships start at just $5 and include a Free Entry Ticket into the Tournament and 1,000 GOOD GAMING Points that can be used to access premium content across the site.”
