Secret Ponchos is a fast-paced, Wild West shootout that doesn't seem wholly confined to one genre. At first glance, it has the look of a new kind of MOBA as different character archetypes battle it out in teams of four. But the game also includes different battle modes, including a bona fide one-against-one shootout.
The art direction in the game is unique and unmistakable. The Wild West setting gives players the same kind of outlaw, gunslinger feel that made people flock to Red Dead Redemption. As players face off in the multiplayer arena, they'll sidestep cow skulls and wooden barrels while casually moving through prisons and saloons. The art direction also gives the game a stylized, cartoon kind of feel.

In Secret Ponchos, players get to choose from among a whole collection of character archetypes, from the mysterious, lanky stranger who's dual-wielding pistols to the beefy soldier toting around a rifle. The result is a battlefield filled with characters that have unique aesthetics and gameplay styles.
Beyond Secret Ponchos, this month's PS Plus free games include the PS4 Ultimate Edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us and the Hitman Trilogy for PS3.
