Endnight Games have provided yet another update to its Early Access Steam title, The Forest. The survival game has been consistently updated since launch, and today's patch adds a few more features and plenty of fixes.
Destiny Update Overhauls Exotic Gear System
The major addition is the new foundation placement, which will intelligently and procedurally support buildings you place to restrict unrealistic building construction. This applies to the cabin, gazebo, and platform, allowing you to choose how high they are built and automatically conforming them to the terrain.
The developers also added ropes, which can be climbed for entrance and exit to the game's caves. They've blocked off some underground entrances and added holes to drop down through to take advantage of the new feature. The recently added multiplayer has also been upgraded: voice chat has arrived. The in-game chat has been tweaked, and multiplayer in general has received a variety of improvements.
