Dragon Ball Xenoverse will offer a wide range of characters and the ability to create your own, and even more new fighters have been announced.
Our Dragon Ball: Battle Of Gods Review
According to Game Informer, Lord Beerus and Whis, two central characters in the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, will be joining the game as playable characters. Beerus is one of the most powerful fighters in the fictional universe, while Whis is his attendant who is more than he appears. In addition to those two newer characters, the well-known Giant Ape Vegeta will be joining the battle.
The game's story mode, Time Patrol Quest, rewrites events from the show's plot, allowing you to alter what happens when a villain tries to change the past. Beerus and Whis will feature prominently, giving the player control of them during Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods' events.

GI says Great Ape Vegeta will be an example of massive boss battles within the game's Time Patrol Quest and Parallel Quest modes. The Great Ape characters were present in past titles, and are quite a bit larger than any of the other fighters, which changes the way they battle. Dragon Ball Xenoverse is set to release for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on February 5.
