Bungie has released a new video to show off Destiny expansion The Dark Below's upcoming content in a slightly less serious format.
Destiny Demo Now Available On All Systems
The intro cinematic and recently released trailer are much more dark and dramatic than this narrated walkthrough from DrCrispy93, who light-heartedly takes us through some of the new weapons and areas in the expansion.
In the video below, we get a look at some weapons and armor, in addition to some things he "isn't supposed to show us". The humorous tone works for Bungie here, I think, and Destiny isn't necessarily a game that needs to take itself so seriously. The Dragonsbreath rocket launcher, for instance, is so exotic it's "like a unicorn and a sasquatch had a baby".

The previews of the items and locales are technically spoilers, if you're sensitive to those kinds of things, so you've been warned. The new armor and weapons do look pretty cool, but it's up to you to decide if the new content is worth the price of admission.
You can get The Dark Below as part of the Expansion Pass for $34.99 (it will be free if you've already purchased the pass), or buy it separately for $19.99. In The Dark Below, the Light level cap will be raised to 32, a bump up from the current 30 if you can find the gear to support it. New exotic and legendary gear will be introduced, likely to help you reach the increased cap, and story missions will be added to game alongside five more bounty slots. New character Eris warns that the Hive are attempting to summon the god Crota to destroy Earth, and will be available in the tower to offer three missions. The expansion will also introduce the game's second Raid, Crota's End. The Dark Below is set to release on December 9.
