Assassin's Creed Unity, even after a couple of patches and updates, is still a little rough around the edges for some players. Ubisoft's Patch 3, however, looks to be a big one, and it's rolling out to all platforms this week.

The full patch notes for Patch 3 can be found over on Ubisoft's forums, and they're quite extensive. For one, the patch is touted to be fixing almost 100 various crashes. PlayStation 4 owners will even see an improvement in the frame rate they get, though the developers note that this is not the patch where they focus on improving general frame rate. That patch is still to come.
Patch 3 also fixes a handful of circumstances under which Arno could become stuck or fall through the floor, forcing the player to load up a previous save. Thanks to Patch 3, there are several hay carts that Arno need no longer fear. Further, the patch takes care of a collection of various issues with cover, animation and the game's camera.

Patch 3 is set to roll out for PlayStation 4 players on Wednesday, November 26, with the PC patch to follow within the week. There are actually conflicting reports on when the Xbox One patch will release. The forum patch notes say that only the PS4 will come on Wednesday and that the Xbox One patch will come later this week, but the game's live updates page claims that tomorrow will bring the Xbox One patch in addition to the PS4 one.
The patch really does seem to have a formidable number of fixes (Ubisoft states that it's over 300 fixes in full), so this patch could be the one that players have been waiting for since launch. The biggest frame rate fixes don't seem to be coming until Patch 4, though, so many players might still be disappointed by the game's sometimes sluggish frame rate.
Assassin's Creed Unity is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
