Happy Black Friday for all of my fellow Mac users out there. I know we get passed over a lot for game releases, but we're not always forgotten. Take LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, the new LEGO game that is on literally every other possible platform (even iOS!). The game is hitting Mac this Friday, November 28.

See, we're down but never out. The non-Mac version of the game has been getting solid to great reviews, nabbing a 3.5 out of 5 on Metacritic. Now we can take the fun home as well. And what is a LEGO game if not fun?
The Mac release will come with three available DLC packs that can be purchased in-game. "Players will rev up the "Tumbler" Batmobile in the Dark Knight pack, send an infant Superman to Earth in the Man of Steel pack and orchestrate deviously designed party celebrations in the Batman 75th pack."

"As you might expect from a galaxy-sized game, there's a huge amount to discover in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham," said David Stephen, Managing Director of Feral Interactive. "From the Justice League Watchtower to the Lantern Worlds, this is LEGO-style action gaming on a galactic scale."
You can pick up the game at the Mac App store for $29.99. Prices may vary depending on the outlet, if you decide to purchase it through another store. It will also be available on Steam and at Feral Interactive's marketplace.
Just in case, here are the specs. Most macbooks should be able to run it at low settings:
1.8Ghz Intel Mac with at least 4.0GB RAM, 256MB or better graphics card, and Mac OS 10.9.5 or later.
The game supports AMD 4670, NVIDIA 9600/GT120/GT330, and Intel HD 4000 series graphics cards or better.
