Puzzle and Dragons's new patch adds compatibility with Android 5.0 Lollipop and some Kindle Fire devices, along with a couple of other changes, but the biggest change players are likely to notice this week is the app's new icon as it supports Apple's Apps for (RED) campaign.
Apple Apps Team Up To Help Fight AIDS
The 7.2.2 update will likely be most useful for Android users, as it finally allows the app to work with Google's new Android 5.0 Lollipop mobile operating system. So if you're one of the lucky few who was able to get an early Nexus 6, you'll still be able to play Puzzle and Dragons on it. The update also fixes some issues the game was having with Kindle Fire devices.
Other than that, the update makes two noticeable changes. When you're carrying a Monster whose active Awoken Skill makes enhanced orbs appear, these enhanced orbs will now be even stronger and will increase in strength based on how many of these relevant skills are in play.

High-level players will also notice that the display for purchasing coin dungeons have changed so that it doesn't say how many days the dungeon will be active for. To see when coin dungeons are swapping out, players can check out the game's Facebook page.
Though it's not an official part of the 7.2.2 patch, players may have noticed that the game's icon is now slightly altered to show Puzzle and Dragons' participation in Apple's Apps for (RED) campaign. To do its part in helping the fight against global AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, Puzzle and Dragons is now offering a special Magic Stone for purchase in the Magic Stone Shop. The purchase is for a single Magic Stone, costing 99 cents, and the proceeds from buying this Magic Stone will go to Product Red to help fight global epidemics. This Magic Stone can only be bought once, after which the Magic Stone Shop will return to normal.
Puzzle and Dragons is free to play for iOS, Android and Amazon devices.
