Black Friday has become just an excuse to throw a sale and overwork underpaid employees all November long. At the very least, because this lengthening of the season's most ridiculous tradition doesn't isn't reserved for a single 24 hour period, the chances of people getting trampled is less and therefore it feels more like just a crowded normal day of shopping.
Microsoft's Black Friday Tech Deals!
I don't know who started the trend to just essentially start Black Friday madness on September 12 (just you wait), but the odds are good Walmart supports the practice.
Here are some of Walmart's video game-centric sales happening right now in their Pre-Black Friday sale:

PS4 Bundles - several customizable PS4 options are available for online ordering. They start at $449 and work themselves up from there, however they do all include a $50 Walmart gift card. While we hesitate to say that these bundles are '50 dollars off', the card does have that allure.
The packages come with several choices of games that run from either zero dollars to an additional 10 depending on which bundle you get: Destiny, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Assassin's Creed Unity, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Call of Duty Ghosts, UFC: Ultimate Fighting Championship, Infamous: Second Son, The Last Of Us Remastered, Killzone: Shadow Fall
Not a bad selection of titles. One of the bundles even comes with the inclusion of a second Dual Shock controller. This is the most expensive one, but you save a few dollars.
Reminder that none of these are like the crazy deals you'd find on Black Friday. But it is the price of doing business without the fear of bodily harm.
Not to be outdone, there are two Xbox One bundles, as well:
First, you can pick up the Xbox One Assassin's Creed Unity bundle for $499. The whole thing comes with a Xbox One Kinect, ACU and your choice of one additional game: Madden 15, Destiny, Halo: Master Chief Collection, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Sunset Overdrive, GTA V, Titanfall, Dragon Age Inquisition, Forza Horizon 2, Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 4 or Alien Isolation.
That is a far better selection of titles.
The second Xbox One option includes ACU, but comes with selected different (and lesser) games, plus an additional Xbox One controller fro $519. I'd put my money on the first bundle. The titles for the second are not as great. You can add Destiny for an additional $20, however.
This will be the holiday season of the Wii U. Nintendo is not to be outdone! You can pick up the Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle which comes with the system, the game, Nintendo Land title, two car wheel controllers and your choice of one additional Wii U controller (the stick, not the GamePad). All for $329!
Or for $30 less, you can get the Super Mario 3D World Wii U bundle, which comes with the game, system and Nintendo Land.
Both the Xbox One and Wii U bundles allow for in-store pickup. The PS4 bundle is delivery only. Supplies are limited, so get them while you can.
