A Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare hot fix is coming to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players that aims to fix a couple of multiplayer map exploits that players have reported.
Get The Details About Advanced Warfare's Recent Lag Patch
The small update was announced over Twitter by Michael Condrey co-founder of Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games. The "geo exploits" he refers to are the tiny glitches that allow players to camp out in relatively safe locations that are not supposed to be accessible. One example is the much-publicized elevator glitch on the Horizon multiplayer map.
If players continue to find these kinds of exploits, they're encouraged to report them to the Sledgehammer Twitter.

The Advanced Warfare team just finished the rollout of the game's lag patch. With the patch going out in two parts for next-gen consoles, Xbox One players finally received the second half of the patch early this week. Though the first half of the patch had plenty of bug fixes and community-requested changes, the second half focused mostly on connectivity optimizations, attempting to alleviate multiplayer lag problems that players have been reporting since launch.
Little word has come from the developers about the work they've done for the last-gen versions of the title, except for a sentence or two in the latest patch notes saying that last-gen support for a similar lag patch should be rolling out "soon."
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
