The Creative Assembly has today revealed the second faction for Total War: Attila, following up the reveal of major player the Eastern Roman Empire with a lesser-known group, the Alans.
The Total War: Attila Eastern Roman Empire Faction Profile
The Alanni people are a tribe based around the northern edges of the Black Sea, and represent some of the most skilled horsemen of the age. They live dangerously close to the Hun homeland, and will no doubt have to contend with the eastern invasion during a campaign.
"The only god they worship is a sword planted in the earth, and they favour a life of relentless conquest," the official faction page states. "Yet even the Alani wavered in the face of the Huns and the relentless pillaging that followed in their wake. Many fled the carnage, becoming pawns to Romans and Vandals, while others joined the Huns in search of plunder. Those that remain with the tribe, however, possess the spirit of independence that hitherto defined them. They alone can restore the name and fortunes of the Alani people."

If you're not one for history, the faction should be an interesting one as far as a campaign is concerned. The faction starts around the border of the Eastern Roman Empire, with room to expand limited mostly to the north and west. The preview makes it sound like the Huns will eventually be an issue from the east, given the Alani location--preparing for an invasion could play a large role in a successful campaign.
