The Xbox 360 and PS3 version launched several weeks ago, but fans and critics universally agreed that you should hold off until now. Your faith and patience has been rewarded. 2K Games has released a new launch trailer and from that alone, it is obvious that this is the one they care about most. The energy is electric.
The next-gen version adds a wealth of new features in addition to wonderfully improved graphics, a huge roster of all your favorite wrestlers from both past and present, career modes, character customization and more. It's huge, it's bombastic, it's everything you want. It is, in a word: wrestling.

The MyCareer mode lets players build their own characters (utilizing the Customization Suite) and then bring up your future superstar through the ranks, beginning at the WWE's training facility, then onto NXT then to Raw, Smackdown and finally, Wrestlemania.
Players can also experience some of the more notable rivalries from WWE's past via the 2K Showcase. "In 2K Showcase sees players relive two WWE rivalries - Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels (2002-2004) and John Cena vs. CM Punk (2011-2013) - through 33 distinct matches with documentary-style video packages of classic WWE footage, authentic WWE Superstar commentary and cinematic cut scenes."
