Assassin's Creed Unity PS4 Patch Fixes Players Clipping Through The Ground, Pantheon Hay Cart Issue, Co-op Crashes

The Assassin's Creed Unity Patch For PS4 Fixes Some Of The More Game-Breaking Glitches

After a rough first few days of launch for Assassin's Creed Unity, a patch has gone live to PlayStation 4 players that should fix many of the most inhibiting bugs that players have unfortunately stumbled upon.

The Recent PC Patch For Unity Fixed Some Graphical Issues, But Not Much Else

After launch, many players discovered that a certain Parisian hay cart, one next to the city's Pantheon in the Bièvre district, would occasionally trap Arno, turning an ordinary Leap of Faith into an obnoxious glitch. This issue is one that is addressed in this new patch for the PS4.

Another common issue is that players would sometimes fall through the streets of Paris into the white abyss below after jumping down onto an enemy or just free running in the wrong place. With the patch, Arno will hopefully be doing less flailing around in an endless descent.

These Unity Glitches May Be Getting Solved One-By-One, But You Can Still Laugh At The Best Of Them

Finally, the patch aims to fix an issue where the game would occasionally crash when players tried to join a co-op session.

Ubisoft notes that this patch didn't focus on frame rate issues that many have reported experiencing, but they do offer a temporary workaround that players can try. If you're playing the single player campaign, Ubisoft advises disconnecting your platform from the Internet to see if you can get a boost in frame rate.

For full patch notes, you can see this post on the Assassin's Creed forums.

Assassin's Creed Unity is now available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
