A new build of the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be on display at the Las Vegas event for fans to check out, the last time they'll get to do so before the remake finally drops. Double Fine founder Tim Schafer, who led the development of the original game, will be on-site as well.
The PlayStation Experience will also feature the public debut of the game's PS Vita port, giving fans their first chance at seeing the classic adventure game running on Sony's handheld.
Banner Saga And Armikrog Are Just Two Of The Indie Games Coming To PS4 Next Year
PlayStation Experience will take place the weekend of December 6 in Las Vegas. It's set to feature plenty of developer panels and upcoming PlayStation 4 titles like Uncharted 4 and Batman: Arkham Knight. For those of use who can't be in Las Vegas, Sony will be streaming the events over Twitch.
Grim Fandango Remastered is Double Fine's remake of the classic 1998 adventure game. Tim Schafer was able to grab the franchise's rights from LucasArts, the original game's publisher, after Disney acquired the developer and turned it into a licensing company. The remastered version's goals are mainly to clean up the graphics of the original PC game and smooth out the controls.
Grim Fandango Remastered is set to release for PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC.
