If you are looking for a reason to duck out of the family gathering a little early this Thanksgiving, allow me to throw this out there: the Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle.
Now, before you grab your keys and scarves to go wait in line, let me explain: this is not the bizarrely shortsighted Japanese-only Xbox One collection featuring everyone's favorite space marine. Rather, it is Walmart's Xbox One sale which comes with Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Certain Walmarts are selling the console and game in-store for $329, which I believe is actually $359, but it comes with a $30 gift card. It's a good deal, and considering Halo is half the reason the Xbox is still around, worth it.
Walmart's Black Friday Video Game Deals
There is one catch, though. The sale is only guaranteed for one hour on November 27 (that's Thanksgiving). And worse, it's in-store only.
Oh yes. Steel yourself. Prepare your mind, your body and your spirit. For who knows what horrors you shall witness after hours and hours of standing outside the giant box store in the cold.
The world's largest retailer has, in its benevolence, decreed that should the item be sold out in that hour (and let's face it, yes it will), then they will offer a limited opportunity to purchase said item and have it shipped to your home address before Christmas. So it is written, so shall it be.
Also! All day Thursday, an Xbox Bundle that comes with your choice of game and 12 month subscription to Xbox Live will be available for $379 via walmart.com. The internet: the best, and only, place to buy what you need this holiday season.
