Zen Studios, the guys behind the recent resurgence of pinball related titles, is delighted to announce that its popular iOS title CastleStorm: Free To Siege has gotten a fancy new update today in the form of a new raid mode.

CastleStorm: Free To Siege was released back in May of this year. The game is a genre mashup, taking elements of tower defense, RTS title, Clash of Clans, Angry Birds and every known medieval game, tossing them together and coming out with something that's not only playable, but really enjoyable.
The game's all-new Raid Mode offers action-packed daily raids for players to experience, each one consisting of three-battle mini-campaigns that are only available for 24 hours.

"Raid Mode introduces great new ways for players to earn themselves gems and enticing new upgrades. As players complete raids they'll earn pearls, which can then be cashed in for gems usable on upgrades. The more pearls players convert at one time, the better conversion rate they'll get."
The update is now available for iOS and Google Play, with an Amazon update due out in the future. While we have our have our hangups with the F2P model at times, CastleStorm's is relatively unobtrusive by today's standards. You can also purchase the full version of the game on Steam straight up, for $9.99. The game is available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, the Vita and Wii U. See?
