DC is quickly assembling its Suicide Squad, which is due out in August of 2016. The David Ayer directed 'grim n gritty' supervillain team-up is in talks with two actors whose claims to fame may be short, but they sure did make an impression.

According to Collider, Margot Robbie, the wide eyed temptress from Scorsese's The Wolf Of Wall Street, will play Harley Quinn. This is perfect casting. Robbie not only has the energy to play the usually manic Quinn, but appearing in Wolf certainly adds to her amoral cred. Her aforementioned big eyes will be perfect for the character, as well.
Harley is a fan favorite. In fact, she's more than a fan favorite, she's a pop icon all herself. Her inclusion in Suicide Squad film definitely points towards DC recasting the Joker, as the two characters are nigh inseparable. Harley didn't always start off crazy, and was in fact a respected psychiatrist who attempted the Sisyphean task of analyzing the clown prince. Well, she ended up in a bad place.

Robbie's Wolf of Wall Street character went down her own rabbit hole as the mistress-turned-wife of Leo. She didn't start out a bitter cynic, but stick around Jordan Belfort long enough and it will break even the strongest of minds. Either way, cosplayers the world over are readying their scissors to recreate whatever outfit they're going to slip the actress into. And internet nerds are ready to cry foul when said outfit does not match their preconceived notions.
I mean, just think of her using that 'daddy' voice while purring 'Mr. J'.
Additionally, John Bernthal of The Walking (And Crying & Drinking In The Shower) Dead fame may also be up for a role. The actor did just work with Ayer in Fury, and also appeared alongside Robbie in Wolf, as well. While at Wizard World Tulsa, the actor was asked about any upcoming role in the film, to which he responded: "I can't talk about that right now."
Could be nothing, could be something. There's no telling what role he might play, as we have no idea what, if any, source material they are adapting. He is built like Manu Bennett, who portrayed Deathstroke on Arrow, so...maybe?
