Lords Of The Fallen 1.2 Patch Fixes Catacombs Pit Problem, Other Bug Issues

Lords Of The Fallen's New Patch Stops You From Falling In Game-Breaking Pits, But It Won't Get You Out

Lords of the Fallen, Bandai Namco's next-gen action RPG that launched last week, has just received its 1.2 patch, which fixes an issue regarding an inescapable pit in the Catacombs area.

According to the patch notes on Steam (thanks, Game Informer), the 1.2 patch now prevents players from falling and getting stuck in this pit, a problem that was plaguing some of the game's players. Unfortunately, if you're already stuck in the pit, it looks like you're going to be staying there, as the patch doesn't remove players from the hole. Still, you can rest assured knowing that when you restart your game to try again, you won't have to worry about avoiding that particular pit.

The patch also fixes another issue in Catacombs regarding a door spawn point, along with other standard game stabilization issues. Developer CI Games notes that the next patch is already in development and that it will be fixing another group of gameplay issues.

Lords of the Fallen has been out to the public for about a week at this point. With its punishing hack-and-slash gameplay and gloomy aesthetic, it drew plenty of comparisons to games like Dark Souls. In the game, the player takes on the role of Harkyn, an absolute tank of a man with a checkered past. Harkyn is released from prison with the command that he take on the army of demons invading the human realm.

Lords of the Fallen is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
