Hot on the announcement that an upcoming compilation featuring 11 classic SEGA games on the 3DS in Japan, the fine folks at both SEGA and Nintendo have announced several of the titles will be coming to the States in 2015.
Sega 3D Classics Collection Coming To 3DS
"The second batch of SEGA 3D Classics are headed exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS hand-held system, spotlighting SEGA's arcade history. Beginning with the release of 3D After Burner II in early 2015, the second batch of titles will be released monthly and include 3D Fantasy Zone, 3D OutRun, 3D Fantasy Zone II, and 3D Thunder Blade.
In my last visit to this topic, I lamented the lack of release in the US. Now, it's not a full fledged comp, but it may be the closest thing we'll ever get to.

Hopefully this means that all 11 games from the compilation will be coming to the 3DS with upgraded everything, including new levels and modes, each month during 2015. We'll be here to tell you all about it.
All games will be priced at MSRP $5.99/€4.99/£4.49 and will be available for download in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS.
