In a leak perfectly timed with the Halloween season, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was revealed to be bringing back the popular zombie gameplay to the franchise.
After a brief hiatus from Ghosts, zombies will be featured in a special gameplay mode in Advanced Warfare. The leak was published by IGN and originates from a post on the /r/Games subreddit. The original leak was a trailer promoting the zombie game mode on YouTube, which has, unsurprisingly, been taken down.
Zombies have actually been hinted at before in Advanced Warfare. Back when the game's achievements were leaked, one mentioned a "bonus wave" at the end of the game's co-op game mode. The achievement, called "Exo Survivor," included a picture of zombies, starting the rumors.

With the trailer, though, the information is much more legitimate. One of the co-founders of developer Sledgehammer Games acknowledged the leak, though he's none too happy about it.
@CodFlufy nothing I can do about it now. But yeah it sucks. Imagine you're playing and this comes up- you'd be psyched up, right?
