The new mobile title comes by way of DeNA and Walt Disney. Star Wars Galactic Defense takes tower defense, one of my favorite game genres, and one of my favorite pop culture series, and blends into one big mish-mash of 'I want it now'. If it weren't free to play, I'd be spending a lot of money on it. In fact, I will be, as the game does feature in-App purchases.
You can journey across the whole galaxy and battle with armies from both the Prequel and Original trilogies, while leveling up your own champion, such as Darth Maul, Lando, Han and many others.
Puzzle And Dragons Gets A DC Update
Players choose their side - light or dark - as they explore and battle across iconic Star Wars locations, employ up to three champions at one time to change the tide of battle, and connect online with their friends in real-time. Players can connect with friends, exchange resources or battle to conquer the galaxy with a top spot on the leaderboard.
The game will be regularly updated, adding new characters, units and maps to defend. Undoubtedly, they will add Episode VII characters when that comes out next year.
Star Wars Galactic Defense is out now for iOS, Android and even Amazon devices. Now, if you'll excuse me, this galaxy isn't going to go and defend itself.
