North American players of Puzzle & Dragons will be getting a special treat next month, publisher GungHo Online announced over Facebook yesterday. A collaboration with DC Comics will put fan favorite Justice Leaguers and super villains into the game for an event sometime in November.
Hearthstone Update Adds Four New Card Backs
North American fans of the RPG/puzzle mobile game have been waiting for their chance to take a crack at the Dragon Ball Z collab that the game's Japanese audience has enjoyed. Even though it looks less and less likely that American players will get to recruit Goku and Vegeta for their dungeon-crawling team, GungHo is throwing this audience a bone by giving them the next best thing: Superman.
According to the teaser image (which you can find in full below), the collaboration will mean characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow and Doomsday will be appearing in special dungeons during the event. So far, there's no mention of a specific timeline for the event or an indication for how long the event will last. All we have is a vague window of "November."

Still, it's heartening to see that the North American game is receiving enough attention to be given its own unique collaboration. It can only mean that the game's player base is becoming more significant in the rest of the world, instead of just in the game's home country of Japan.
Puzzle & Dragons is free to play for iOS, Android and Fire devices.
