Super Smash Bros Wii U will be largely similar to the 3DS version in terms of gameplay, characters, and stages, but there are notable differences between the two as well.
The Best 4 New Super Smash Bros Characters
The 3DS version had been the focus of most reveals leading up to its launch--the largest info dump for the Wii U edition was delivered recently in a livestream. The reveals included the board game-style Smash Tour: World Smash, eight player battles, playable Mewtwo, and more.
Today's daily picture shows off the Wii U's Special Smash mode, which allows you to pick and choose between several game-altering settings for a battle. These include making characters huge, increasing gravity, making everyone fast, and more. The image above shows off this selection screen, giving you even more ways to play (as if the game didn't offer enough already).

Details large and small will continue to pour forth until the November 21 release date, though the info will likely trend towards the latter. We've seen most if not all of the Wii U version's game modes and major unique features at this point. As cool as the eight player battles, Smash Tour, future Mewtwo and the rest are, that's likely the end of big announcements, unless Nintendo has another surprise up its sleeve.
