With the patch, the game will no longer crash if a user tries to download a world save without having enough storage space on their device. The patch also fixes an issue that would occur when players attempted to accept a game invite while already in a game.
Finally, the patch smooths out some issues the Vita version was having with DLC. DLC can now be purchased while connected to an ad hoc wireless network. Users can also now exit the game safely while using trial texture packs.

As an added bonus for Turkish players who are new to the game, 1.01 adds Turkish language support for the game's manual. It's not a huge demographic, but it's a thoughtful addition nonetheless.

Minecraft: PS Vita Edition is the most recent port of the ubiquitous sandbox game, which is why so many substantive bugs needed fixing. It's not the last new port we'll see, though. A version of Minecraft: Pocket Edition has been confirmed for Windows Phones.
