Supercell is dressing itself up and going around your neighborhood, but there is no threat of tricks here. Clash of Clans is getting nothing but treats this Halloween season.
Clash Of Clans Halloween Obstacles Introduced
The latest sneak peek of the forthcoming update comes courtesy of Supercell forum mod Anoushka. The new patch, as it were, will address the complaints from players about losing the productivity Boost during the occasional maintenance breaks. Now, these delays are not the most major of time-wasters, but this is a game built entirely on the time it takes to do things.
Barracks, Spell Factory and Hero boosts will now be automatically paused during maintenance breaks. The boost will not continue automatically after the game goes online and players need to tap the "Resume" button to keep the boost going (at no extra cost).

Resource boosts are unaffected. Because you shouldn't be using them anyways! (seriously, save the gems to nab builders). For the high level raiders, however, this is a welcome sight. Patience is a virtue in Clash of Clans, but sometimes that enemy base needs destroying now and you do not have the calm to wait hours and hours for your troops to finish.
The Spell Factory will also be getting a 1 Gem boost from when the update hits (hopefully beginning of next week) until Halloween.
Additionally, you may now boost all buildings (including Gold Mines and Elixir Extractors) of the same unit with a single button, should you choose.
It is definitely a fun-sized treat from Supercell. There are some cosmetic changes to shrubbery; bushes will now be pumpkins and skulls will once again be hanging out in the trees! More will be coming tomorrow. Let us hope that it is some full-sized goodness.
