A new trailer for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire shows off Mega Latios and Mega Latias, along with their new Soar ability that allows you to freely fly through the skies of Hoenn. The demo for the title will be released on October 21.

The mega evolutions of Latios (available in Omega Ruby) and Latias (Alpha Sapphire) are not a big surprise, but there hasn't been anything like the Soar feature in any past title. You can freely control the flight of either Pokemon over the game's areas and towns, with special encounters known as Mirage Spots available in the sky--watch the trailer below to see Soar in action.

The Pokemon Company also revealed Mega Beedrill and Mega Pidgeot, both shown off in the new footage. The PokeNav returns as part of PokeNav Plus, which offers a suite of features for locating Pokemon and moving around the map. One of these is the DexNav, which helps identify Pokemon in the wild. The BuzzNav brings news form the game's world to your pocket, while PlayNav allows you to interact with your party through playing, battling, and training.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be out for 3DS on November 21.
