New Wolf Among Us Trailer Celebrates The Game's Next-Gen Release

Telltale's episodic game The Wolf Among Us finished its first season this summer boasting a whole host of glowing praise from different media outlets. The game is set to make its next-gen console debut early next month, and we've got a new trailer to celebrate.

Telltale's The Walking Dead Gets Next-Gen Release Date

On November 4, The Wolf Among Us will be available as a digital download on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The same day, the game's retail version will officially hit shelves, so physical disc lovers will be able to pick up The Wolf Among Us for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita as well as the two next-gen consoles.

The retail version of the game includes all five episodes of the story. The season first started back around this time last year.

Telltale Talks About The Future Of The Walking Dead At NYCC This Weekend

In The Wolf Among Us, the player takes on the role of Sheriff Bigby Wolf, a character from Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series. Much like in Telltale's other hit series The Walking Dead, the player mostly interacts with the world through a series of conversation trees. The decisions the player makes in-game can affect how the rest of the game plays out. At the end of each chapter, the player is able to see how his or her choices compare with everyone else who had played the game, letting them know if their choice of saving one character or condemning another were popular among the masses.

The Wolf Among Us has received plenty of praise for its storytelling, which is unsurprising considering how well-received The Walking Dead was. Come November, more people than ever will be able to get in on this world that Telltale has created.

If you just can't wait, The Wolf Among Us is available right now to download on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac iOS and Amazon Fire.
