The volatile Red - a modern day Holden Caulfield, some say - will be voiced by Jason Sudeikis. The mercurial Chuck will be played by Josh Gad, he of Frozen fame, lover of summer despite his snowman's appearance. Danny McBride will take on the role of Bomb, an explosively temperamental bird.

The porcine Bill Hader will be playing a pig, whereas it is upon Maya Rudolph to portray Matilda. Reserving the big guns of acting for the actual in-game big guns, Game Of Thrones' Peter Dinklage will be voicing the Mighty Eagle. Will he only have one scene in the movie, as per the games?
Angry Birds: The Movie is scheduled to hit theaters July 1, 2016. The script is by The Simpsons' Jon Vitti, while directing duties are on animation veterans Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis in their feature film debut.
