They smell bad and they travel at slow speeds in large groups. They will descend surprisingly quick upon the living. Their social language skills are reduced to a series of grunts and guttural tones. They are the NYCC 2014 attendees! Oh wait, no, zombies. They're zombies.

But, folks who are attending this year's annual New York Comic Con can become a zombie. Midtown Comics, practically the last comic-store standing in Manhattan, is hosting a Zombie Crawl at the convention and it wants you to join the undead masses as they stalk, shamble and slowly ambulate their way around the Jacob Javits center, posing, eating and grunting. The entire event will be filmed and cut into a video for the comics superstore.
The first 20 who present themselves in person at Midtown Comics from now until October 8 can enter and be secure not only their place in the Zombie Crawl, but a free 'I'm A Midtown Zombie' t-shirt. The 20 entrants will then be emailed additional details, including where and when to meet for the Midtown Zombie Crawl at NYCC 2014. They are at booth #2036, so chances are, you will meet there.

Be sure to come in make-up. They'll have some there, of course, but now is the time to put on your undead best. Additional prizes will be given to the best zombie of the group.
If you do not make the 20 person A-team, don't worry! You can still swing on by the booth and take part in the crawl. The only difference is there is no free t-shirt, and you are required to buy one to participate in the promotional event.
