If you've been keeping up with iPhone news, you'll know that new concerns have been cropping up about Apple's new iPhone 6 Plus permanently deforming after being bent in a user's pocket. Though it started off as legitimate complaints from unfortunate consumers, it soon turned into a joke, with various YouTube videos being posted of people purposefully trying to deform their iPhone 6 Plus – one guy even did it with his bare hands.
In Case You Missed It: The Claims That Started This Whole Debacle
Apple has responded to these concerns in a couple of ways. One of them was to open up a wing of their devices' stress test facility to several reporters to show them the rigorous testing the company's devices go through before being released to the public.
The folks over at The Verge were one of the lucky few with a golden ticket to Apple's Cupertino factory, and they came out of it with some pretty nice pictures of Apple's iPhone tortune chambers. The stress test machinery includes several bending tests, a torsion test that twists devices and a mechanical butt that simulates someone sitting on the iPhone.

These tests are meant to represent everyday situations that the iPhone could face. If you want to see them in action, Re/code was able to get some good video of iPhones being put through the wringer.
After the reports of iPhone 6 Plus models bending after everyday use, Apple responded by saying that they have so far only received nine complaints out of the millions of models they sold over the smartphone's launch weekend.
