The trailer aims for drama, with Shaq tossing out a series of hypotheticals that could have changed the fate of many NBA teams as we know them today. The idea behind MyTeam is, of course, that the player would be the one to make these league-defining decisions.
Though Shaq's narration leans toward the melodramatic, the appeal of the game mode is clear, especially the idea of building an elite team using players from across different NBA eras. The rosters you could create with the best of multiple generations are of course obscenely good, but that's half the fun. The trailer looks great graphically, another impressive step for a series that already impressed with its debut on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
