Larian Studios has today released free DLC and a game patch for hit CRPG Divinity: Original Sin. The DLC adds two new companion characters, while the rather large patch improves or fixes many aspects of the game.

The Bear and The Burglar DLC pack is available free through Steam and Gog.com, and brings Bairdotr and Wolgraff to the game. The two will be found in Cyseal when you start a new game, and concept art for the pair can be seen below. Bairdotr is a female ranger, while Wolgraff is a male rogue thief.

The game will also be updated to version 1.0.169, which addresses multiple issues and upgrades certain areas of the game. The full patch notes can be found on Steam's site, but we've pulled some highlights below:
- Added listening functionality to dialogs. Now you can listen to ongoing dialogs and see the complete history to better follow what is being said
- A lot of fixes for savegames that refused to load
- Dragging action will cancel when going into trade
- Weight can no longer become negative
- Overall audio balance has been updated
