Monument Valley will be getting new levels, and now we have the picture to prove it.
Firewatch Is Much More Than A Park Ranger Simulator
Not being content with just being the team behind a critical darling with one million downloads and counting, developer Ustwo are in the process of creating new levels for their surreal platformer Monument Valley. A new screen from an upcoming level of the hit mobile game was tweeted out today by one member of the development team.
In the new screen, the princess of Monument Valley is back and is navigating a new world with a color palette that is somehow simultaneously gray yet distinctly vibrant. Much like the game's original collection of levels, this new stage possesses the simple yet substantive art style that made the game memorable in the first place.

In Monument Valley, the player's basic goal is simple: Get from Point A to Point B. The levels, however, don't play by the typical rules of physics. The level layouts take a hint from M. C. Escher and that one scene from Inception to take the player through challenges based on forced perspective. The player needs to harness a good deal of lateral thinking to manipulate the stages in the right way and guide the princess through to the exit.
Monument Valley is available for Apple, Android and Amazon devices for $3.99.
