Almost all free-to-play games you'll come across today will have the phrase "free to play but not pay to win" in their taglines. Dragons & Titans developer Wyrmbyte, however, is putting its money where its mouth is.
Witcher MOBA Enters Closed Beta
Wyrmbyte this week announced that Dragons & Titans would be losing all of its microtransactions. In its place, the developer is putting in a two-tiered business plan. On the first tier, the game remains free-to-play for anyone who wants to come in and try out the game without any risks.
For players who want to experience everything the game has to offer, however, Wyrmbyte has introduced the Titan Pass, a $20 bundle that includes all of the dragons, weapons, avatars, skins and single player story Acts that the game has now and access to every content addition it will receive in the next year.

Titan Pass buyers will also receive four times the in-game currency at the end of each match for one year.
Players who choose the free-to-play option will still be able to progress through the game's tiers of dragons and weapons using in-game currency earned through matches. Skins, avatars and single player stories, however, will remain exclusive content for Titan Pass owners.
To make sure older players don't feel ignored by the change, players who had already spent more than $20 in this game before the change will be rewarded with the Veterans Dragon Pack.
Dragons & Titans is available to download for free either directly from the game's website or on Steam for PC and Mac.
