The Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS details keep coming from Nintendo ahead of the staggered release of both versions, with the 3DS title set to hit on October 3. The Wii U version does not yet have a set release date, but is due out some time this holiday season.
Meta Knight Unveiled As Playable Character In Upcoming Super Smash Bros
Several new characters and other details were revealed at E3 as expected, and we got to see the game in action in a live tournament. Even after these major announcements, though, series director Masahiro Sakurai continues to give us comparatively smaller details through the official site in the form of a daily picture update.
With the 3DS version's release date finally less than a month away, the updates have been increasingly related to the handheld edition of the game.
eShop 3DS And Wii U Sale Schedule Announced
That holds true again today with another look at the game's menus, a common subject for Sakurai's posts. The image above shows off The Vault, which has your trophies and other collectibles, and is accompanied by this description:
"This is what the view looks like within the Vault. YourTrophies collection will start off with one randomly selected trophy. In your Album, you can view pictures you've taken of fighters posing. Photos taken with the 3D Depth Slider on will take photos in stereoscopic 3D, and photos will be in 2D when they're taken with that feature turned off."
Keep checking back for more Super Smash Bros. news each day, where we'll hopefully see new character reveals or a Wii U release date.
