The LEGO video game series has had quite the successful history over the past nine years. Over the years it has turned many different blockbuster franchises like Star Wars, Harry Potter and Batman into adorable minifig video game characters. And based on leaked information from internal Toys R Us memos, Jurassic World may be the next movie to get the brick video game treatment.

The people over at the fan website Jurassic World put together a collection of advertising strategies that the movie could be pursuing based on what was revealed in the memos. This list includes an in-progress contract for a LEGO Jurassic World video game. The game would presumably be done by developer Traveller's Tales, which has served as the epicenter for the LEGO video game boom and has somehow continued to turn out quality games based on the same seemingly limited concept (turn movies into LEGO bricks) for the past nine years.
It has already been loosely confirmed that Jurassic World will be getting a line of LEGO toys in the near future. A poster over on Brick Fanatics mentioned that, in an appearance on a podcast, Jurassic World star Chris Pratt revealed that he had recently seen the LEGO design for Owen, his character in Jurassic World.

The Jurassic World LEGO game would no doubt feature the movie's human characters, but the big question everyone should be asking is whether or not we'll get to romp around LEGO worlds as a LEGO velociraptor. The movie itself is set to debut next summer, so keep your eyes peeled for more information once it gets closer to that time.
