Bungie has released a live action trailer for the upcoming Destiny, which shows off some Guardians in action on various planets.

Destiny is set for release next week on September 9 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. The video combines some great CGI action with real actors, and the results are pretty enjoyable. It was directed by Joseph Kosinski, the man behind Tron: Legacy, Oblivion and several notable game trailers including Gears of War's "Mad World" and Halo 3's "Starry Night".
It perhaps could have done without the flippant, somewhat out of place dialogue, but it's an enjoyable trailer and the music selection helps make up for it. Destiny's mysterious, supernatural personality doesn't scream humor and light-hearted banter, but suffice to say the trailer as a whole is a different take on what we've seen so far.
