Microsoft has revealed the free games it will be offering to Xbox Live Gold members for the month of September, and it's another good one for subscribers.
Get All of August's Free Games With Gold Titles Before They're Gone!
Along with Crimson Dragon for the Xbox One, which was offered for free in August and will continue to be so in September, Xbox One owners will also be able to download Super Time Force.
From the acclaimed creators of Superbrothers: Swords and Sworcery EP, the game was only released a few months ago in May and has been highly acclaimed, so this is your chance to get the game for free. As with all Xbox One titles this will only be available to you as long as you are an Xbox Live Gold subscriber.
Does PS Plus Offer Newer, Better Games For Free?
The official description of Super Time Force: "Super Time Force is an action-packed platformer with a time-travelling twist! You're in control of time itself, bending and stretching it to your advantage on the battlefield. Rewind time and choose when to jump back into the action, teaming-up with your past selves in a unique single-player co-op experience! Take control of up to 16 unique characters, and battle across 6 different time periods, from the long-ago past to the far-away future."
Xbox 360 owners will get their usual two free games as well. Unlike the Xbox One titles, 360 games are free to download and keep forever.
Starting Monday, September 1st, Monaco: What's Yours is Mine (normally $14.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through September 15th.
"Assemble a crack team of thieves and execute the perfect crime. Sneak, steal, and run for your lives in single player or with up to four friends in local or online co-op. Find out why it won the 2010 IGF Grand Prize and has been described by Rev3Games' Anthony Carboni as 'quite possible the best co-op ever.'"
On September 16th, subscribers will be able to download Halo: Reach (normally $24.99) for free through September 30th.
Halo Reach should need no introduction, as it's one of the most highly acclaimed titles in the series, and it's ridiculous to think that someone with an Xbox 360 wouldn't have played it but now you'll have absolutely no excuse.
