Nintendo announced a pair of new crossover DLC packs for Mario Kart 8 alongside today's launch of the previously announced Mercedes-Benz content pack.

Each of the newly announced content packs add three racers, two new cups and four new vehicles to the game. Combined, the new cups will add a total of 16 new tracks, including new tracks inspired by the crossed-over franchises and old favorites like Mario Kart Wii's Wario's Gold Mine.
The first of the DLC packs includes content from The Legend of Zelda and F-Zero series, meaning that you can now stick Link in the Blue Falcon to conquer the Grand Prix. It also includes two new skins inspired by Super Mario 3D World, Cat Peach and Tanooki Mario. This pack is set to release in November. The second DLC pack contains crossover content from the Animal Crossing series. Not satisfied with making his debut in Smash Bros., the Villager is entering the races along with New Leaf's Isabelle. The pack also includes Dry Bowser and is set to release in May of next year.
New Mario Kart 8 Tournament Will Hit The UK
Though neither pack is available for several more months, they're both ready for pre-order starting today. Each pack costs $7.99 solo or $11.99 as a pair. A bonus perk for those who order both packs now is the addition of eight new colors for Yoshi and Shy Guy, available immediately. The content packs also take up 1 GB of space each, so make sure you have room for these add-ons before pulling out your wallet.
For those who can't wait that long for new content, the previously announced Mercedes-Benz vehicle pack is available for download starting today. Let Luigi glare out of his vehicle in style with one of three luxury cars pulled from the German automaker's 80-year history. The cars are available for a free download.
