Not many people can bravely stand up to the relentless punishment that Dark Souls II doles out and ask for more. For those determined souls who emerged from the game victorious and are itching to jump right back in, the new Crown of the Old Iron King DLC should do the trick.
Check Out The First Chapter Of The Lost Crowns DLC Trilogy
Crown of the Old Iron King is the middle chapter of the three-part Lost Crowns DLC for From Software's notoriously challenging action game. The first installment, Crown of the Sunken King, had players delve through a sprawling underground cavern in search of the legendary crown of Drangleic's King Vendrick. This time around, players are thrust into yet another new setting, a world filled with lava and fire, just in case the intimidating enemies didn't already add enough to the game's constant threat of death.
The next and final chapter of the Lost Crowns DLC is slated to release September 24. In Crown of the Ivory King, players will get the opportunity to make their way through a perilous world of ice and snow. By that point, though, the fiery world of Crown of the Old Iron King might have them yearning for a chillier climate.
