World Of Warplanes: New Flight School Video Teaches Teamwork

New World of Warplanes Flight School Video Teaches You How To Play Well With Others

The newest entry in the World of Warplanes Flight School series of videos teaches users all about how there's strength in numbers.

Flight School Teaches Ground Attack Advantages

The new video uploaded earlier today goes into detail about the different ways teamwork comes into play in the popular MMO. The first lesson is about flights, the basic organizational unit of air combat. Much like the rest of the game, the video pulls pages out from the history books to demonstrate how different military powers have organized their air units, like Germany's diamond-shaped group of four or Russia's pattern of three planes formed into a "V". After all, if it worked in a World War, there's a good chance it'll work against kids playing on a desktop. The game gives you a couple of options on how you want to assemble your flight, which the video also walks you through.

The new episode of Flight School also quickly goes over the kinds of strategic decisions to keep in mind when constructing the makeup of your flight. Different planes have different attack strengths, different sizes and different amounts of maneuverability, and all of these permutations can make for some very unique formations ready to take on your enemy. Flights composed of the same type of aircraft are efficient and powerful, but flights made up of different kinds of aircraft can generate some interesting strategy and maybe throw your enemy off their guard. And if you think this Flight School video dives deep into strategy, just wait until the next installment: tactics.

World Of Warplanes Takes A Cue From Air Combat Movies

Aerial combat is graceful, high-energy, fun to watch and, most importantly, a team effort. By the end of this video, you'll know that the true meaning of being a great wingman is more than just talking your buddy up at the bar.
