Fans of Rockstar Game's upcoming Max Payne 3 have many questions but one important one is when will the title have a confirmed release date. The company provided some answers for that and a number of other inquiries such as the PC version availability.
Max Payne 3 may need more time to add to its already awesome appeal to gamers by delaying the release date from March to May 2012. The news prompted curiosity from it fans on why the company needed some additional time before shipping the game out to retail stores.
Here was what Rockstar Games had to say in a public statement:
"We understand it's disappointing to have to wait another couple months for the game, but we hope you know our goal is always to deliver the best games we possibly can. Trust that the delay is all to ensure the game is as epic and highly-polished as possible. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. We believe it will be well worth the wait."
PC gamers looking to get their hands on a Max Payne 3 copy may be disappointed to hear that the PC version will need additional weeks after the console launch before hitting store shelves.
"We also would like the Max Payne 3 PC release to happen as close as possible to the console release date. It just wasn't possible to get the PC version lined up day and date with the console releases, but we're working to make sure it's with you just a couple weeks thereafter, " said Rockstar.
The title will be the third installment to the Max Payne trilogy as it follow a New York detective who guns through goons in order to seek vengeance for his family's death. Max now finds himself away from New York and immersed in a city of violence. His skill with weapons and instincts becomes his ticket to find the truth.
