Square Enix truly believes in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, their MMO game set in the FF universe. They like it so much, they not only are inviting you to play it for free for the next fourteen days, but they also want you to bring a friend.

As part of Square's Recruit A Friend campaign, current players may recruit their curious friends via the game's Mog station. If the friend accepts the invitation, purchases and subscribes to the game, both players will receive exclusive items as a bonus.
You must be a current paying subscriber to the game. Rewards will be given to the recruiter and invitee once 30 days of subscription have been purchased by the invited player. An additional reward, an exclusive two-seat chocobo mount, will be provided to the recruiter after the invitee has purchased a cumulative 90 days of subscription time.

However, why stop at in-game goodies for you and your friends? Why not go to that extra level of friendship and bring your pal to the first ever Final FANtasy XIV Fan Festival. The event will be taking place in London on October 25 and will feature cast signings, dev team panels, tournaments, tons of goodies and so much more.
Tickets for the London Fan Festival are priced at £65/ €80 per standard ticket, and £85/ €104 per VIP ticket. VIP tickets include access to an exclusive Friday night (24th October) event where you can eat, drink and meet members of the development team. Each Fan Festival ticket will grant access to the main event for October 25.
