The game has been ported by Feral Interactive, a studio responsible for taking many other titles to Mac such as Borderlands, Tomb Raider, Bioshock, and more. The Total War Twitter account announced the news, linking to Feral's minisite for the game.
"The Steam version of Total War: Shogun 2 (out this Thursday) will include Mac-Mac online multiplayer, co-op campaigns and Avatar Conquest," Feral tweeted. "The Mac App Store version of the Total War: Shogun 2 Collection will be available for conquering in early August."
