Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Moncelli posted on the PlayStation Blog outlining the new feature, which is accessed through the pause menu. You can take pictures of the gorgeous in-game graphics to save and share the best vistas or scenes you come across as you play. A tutorial video, below, was released alongside the post to show off how it works.
"Photo Mode is activated through the pause screen. You can activate it by simply tapping L3 to freeze the action in-game as long you aren't in a cutscene," Monacelli explained.

"Camera control, field of view, and depth of field adjustments will help you frame the perfect shot. Aesthetically, you can add one of ten different color filters and adjust its intensity. You can choose to give your photo a vignette or even select from a selection of eleven different frames. If you like the look of film grain, you can add that as well. There are a ton of options for you to explore."
A similar feature exists in Infamous: Second Son, which has produced some fantastic-looking screenshots. Photo Mode will be added to The Last of Us Remastered through the patch that is going to be available at launch.
