A new trailer for the upcoming Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham superhero spectacular has just been released in honor of San Diego Comic Con and Batman's 75th birthday.
Batman's Turning Japanese. Really, Really Japanese.
Watching the trailer, the first thing you question you ask yourself is 'why is this even called a Batman game?' The entirety of the Justice League makes an appearance and the action quickly shifts from an earth-bound perspective to JLA's Watchtower satellite base, and beyond. Way, way beyond Gotham.
Since this is Batman and Comic Con we're talking about, attendees to the annual event can get their hands on many Lego Batman 3 goodies and activities throughout the weekend. The main panel will be held on Sunday at 1 in room 6BCF, a perfect way to wind down a busy, exhausting weekend.
Witcher 3 Cosplay Contest Announced At SDCC
Poster signings from the voice talent will be held at the DC booth (#1915) after the panel at 2:30.
A playable version of the game will be available at the LEGO booth, DC Comics booth and the Microsoft Gaming Lounge located at The Hyatt (#100). For those wishing for a more in-depth look into the game making process, a live demo from the game's direct Arthur Parsons will be happening at the DC Comics booth (#1915): Thursday - Saturday, from 1:00 to 1:15 p.m. and at the LEGO booth (#2829): Thursday - Sunday, from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Batman is everywhere at Comic Con. He's being celebrated in every single hall and corner of the San Diego Convention Center. And yet, even if the new Ben Affleck Bats looks cool, I still think I'm more excited for the Lego version of the caped crusader because, unlike recent Batman entries, it just looks like a lot of fun.
