The latest update for the game will revolve around a brand new comic convention that Comic-Con International is hosting in Quahog. As usually happens when you cram hundreds of thousands of geeks into an enclosed area, something goes wrong, and Stewie is transformed into an evil octopus monster (and fan of Watchmen?) that threatens Quahog. Fortunately, plenty of nerd celebrities are on hand to help out!

Here's How To Finally Unlock Stewie In Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff
ALL of these actors will be appearing as in-game characters and what’s more, they recorded voices just for this game. Did they miss anyone? This is the cream of the geek crop here.
“With a brand as big as FAMILY GUY, we have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what is possible in a mobile game,” said Andrew Green, Head of Business Development and Operations at TinyCo and general all-around badass. “Including celebrity guest stars is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, and we’re incredibly excited to give players the opportunity to interact with some of their favorite stars in a brand new way.”
This update will take place the same time as Comic-Con and offer all sorts of new goodies for your Quahog. It will be available tomorrow, July 24 on iOS devices and a week later on July 31 on Google Play.
