All aboard folks, for the next installment of Dovetail Game's Train Simulator is pulling into the station.
Xbox One August Update Features Revealed
Train Simulator 2015 will feature not only some beloved models and railways of the world, but also things that are not yet in existence. In the development of Train Simulator 2015, Dovetail Games has worked closely with train builders Hitachi Rail Europe Ltd to include a highly accurate recreation of their new Class 800/801 trains.
"We're delighted to be working with Dovetail Games and excited to see how they have brought the Class 800/801 to life in their software." Said Andy Barr, Chief Operating Officer from Hitachi Rail Europe. "As leaders in innovation we're always looking for partners that share our passion for design and technology and we can't wait to see how Train Simulator 2015 users enjoy the experience of driving our train."

The real life versions of the trains are scheduled to go into operation in places that actually appreciate mass transit in 2018, but all you players out there can get a taste at how they run in Train Simulator 2015.
TS15 will feature a new Academy, a "train"ing area (get it, get it?) that will introduce new players to the series quickly and easily. Players will have access to all types of trains and can be running their own world-saving bullet train in no time.
Expect greater flexibility and control when it comes to crafting your own content. "It is..important to our users to be able to get creative so we've made further enhancements to the tool set available to creators to make the job of building great content easier and quicker than ever before." said Adam Lucas, Producer at Dovetail Games.
Train Simulator 2015 will launch on September 18 for PC as both box and digital download from Steam. The game will be compatible "with an existing range of more than 100 add-on locomotives and routes." Happy tracks, folks!
Now, can someone please mod the game into a post-apocalyptic battle against the 1%?
